3" Scale Garrett DCC
A little page to show the rebuild of our 3" scale Garrett Double Crank Compound traction engine. She was finished to the specification of a customer who put their name on the engine half way through the project. The two photos below show how we bought the model into stock. A very interesting, detailed and well built model, but pretty tired both mechanically and cosmetically. So a full strip down to a bare boiler and then refurbishment and re-build of everything!
