The Deutches BundesBahn V200 is considered by many enthusiasts the Classic Diesel Hydraulic Loco. This model is based on the early locomotive and captures all the beautiful design features which make this locomotive a bit of a classic icon of Diseasel engineering!
More than eight square feet of etched nickel parts are supplied with the kit (which comes from Phoenix Locomotives,.... and costs £4000 for the box of bits alone!) as well as many brass and PU castings. Digital control and four powerful DC motors make this model a capable hauler as well as a pretty good looking toy!
The cabs are both fully detailed, and this one is fitted with a decent sound system, as well as an amplifier, lights,..... a well thought out fitting to take the battery charger (included) and a hand held Phoenix controller.
In terms of detail and finish, this one is right up there with the best 5" gauge has to offer, and so we aren't going to hesitate in offering this one at two prices. You can have her as she is, (price below the photos), or we can put her through our 'Diesel Workshop' sister branch, for all the last little bits to make her the best. Things like working fans visible through the roof vents, cab lighting, smoke units, radio control, weathering and the odd few bits of extra detailing drawn from photographs and works drawings,..... and frankly anything else you fancy! If you want the windscreen wipers to work, then we'd love to do it!
This is already something a bit special in our view, but it would be lovely to get the chance to push it that extra mile.
