Here we have a really nicely finished 7 1/4" LMS Fowler Royal Scot. Finished as 6100 'Royal Scot' it's self, the engine has recently undergone a makeover to include some nice extra detail, and a fresh coat of paint. Built originally from Basset Lowke castings to Henry Greenly's design, a good number of these locos have been built over the years, and they all seem to perform well. They are a strong and capable steamer, and will do a decent days passenger hauling should that be your thing!
The boiler is silver soldered copper, and comes fully certificated and ready to play. There are two injectors fitted and a big hand pump in the tender. There is a steam brake on the footplate, as well as footplate operated drain cocks. The seat is supported on a nicely done frame on top of the tender, and the foot pegs are removable.
She has only run a couple of times since receiving her new paint, so you get to be the first one to scratch her!
