7 1/4" Black Hawthorn

We've been very pleased to be able to add this beautiful little piece of model engineering history to our collection here at Steam Workshop. Built in 1966 by Louis Raper, this is his first venture into professional model engineering, and indeed used as his demonstrator when showcasing his skills to potential new clients. Raper kept this model until he passed away and even though it is now 53 years old (as of 2019), it is still in exceptionally good condition.
