Here we have a rather nicely done 5" gauge Sweet Pea. This is a brand new build, with a new professional boiler in it. Only test steamed on a couple of occasions to test and set the loco up.
The usual bits and bobs are there. There is an injector and a hand pump under the running boards as per the photos. Lubrication is via two chunky mechanical jobs, one for each cylinder. Footplate operated draincocks. There's not a huge amount more that words can further add to the pictures here. The loco is unpainted and naked, so you can see exactly how it's been built with nothing hidden or disguised by the paint. It's a good opportunity to get hold of a crisply and competently built brand new Sweet Pea. Being brand new, the model may need the usual 'new engine' nips and tucks. Running in gently, with an eye on all the nuts and bolts to make sure nothing works loose and that everything works in nicely. There's a lovely loco here, that should give many years of fun. The boiler comes with all the original manufacturers certificates and paperwork.
