Here we have a nice Sweat Pea. Not your conventional saddle tank, but one with a rather attractive side tank twist. Nicely made with a very tidy copper boiler, this has recently come in having 'rested' for a few years in the corner of a living room. Mechanically she's in very good shape, and has clearly been well cared for, and not seen a great deal of use, judging by both the wear on the bottom end and the relatively light sooting in the smoke box.
Lots of nice little extras on this one, making it a cut above your average Sweet Pea. The 'air vents' on the tops of the tanks are actually oilers feeding down into each of the axle boxes, and even the little oil boxes on the cross heads have proper wicks in them. There's an injector, a hand pump and an axle pump for the water, and lubrication is from the usual mechanical, in this case one on each side. Generally this is a well built, well looked after Sweat Pea, and one that should give lots of fun running to a new owner.
