Here we have another well on the way part build. This is a 5" gauge LMS Stanier mogul. Virtually complete tender, rolling locomotive chassis with coupling rods on and various other motion parts completed and a complete and hydraulically tested boiler. A rare model in 5", this come with a massive stack of drawings on A4 sheets for everything, and as far as we can tell it's not just a basic scaled up LBSC Princess Marina, although obviously being the same prototype there are obvious similarities.
It's well on the way, and certainly looks the part, and is a great start for someone wanting an unusual and capable 5" locomotive. We'd love to see this one finished off with some good detail on it and running the yard full of scale wagons at a Gilling main line rally!
