Here we have an interesting model! It's certainly a hybrid loco built presumably with all the different designed bits the builder liked or had, and a very nicely done job it is as well! It's currently brand new and unfired, and we think you're looking at essentially a Simplex chassis, modified to fit Speedy cylinders, with a posh BR Standard Class 2 boiler and a well proportioned LMS-ish style body! There's certainly lots to like in this one, and we are confident it's going to turn out to be a powerful and free steaming little beast! More details to be added soon, but for now have a good look at the photos. (Apologies,.... we are incredibly busy in the workshop at the moment!)
