Here we have another well built 5" gauge 'Alice' class quarry Hunslet, made to the Don Young design. The model was finished in 2003 although it has seen very little use since it was made. It runs extremely well, and will crawl along, notching back beautifully. There is an injector, an axle pump with a bypass valve on the footplate and an emergency hand pump in the saddle tank. Lubrication is by two very substantial mechanical lubricators under the front footplate .
The boiler has obviously seen little use, and is of course silver soldered copper. Generally an all round tidy and well made quarry Hunslet, ready to complete your garden railway!
