Here we have a brand new and un-fired 5" gauge Polly VI. Professionally assembled and a very tidy job too, this is at the bigger end of the well respected Polly range. The boiler is the usual professionally made silver soldered copper one with of course a fresh twice working pressure hydraulic test.
Fitted with the usual injector, axle pump with footplate mounted bypass valve and of course the hand pump in the tender. Lubrication is mechanical and in the usual Polly, easily accessible place on the running board. A very tidy, new model, that we can easily commission for you should you wish to run it rather than simply have a clean un-steamed loco.
As with most of our models, what you see isn't necessarily what you get!
We often photograph models pretty much as they come in to us, and then when someone phones to say they are interested we pull the model into our workshops and make sure everything is tested, sorted and ready to go. So if you see the odd model photograph with a fitting missing or a return crank in the wrong place, that's just how it came in and certainly not how it will leave.
