Here we have a nicely detailed 5" gauge Orenstein & Koppel 0-4-0 tank engine, built from the well respected Polly models kit. This one has been well maintained and loved, as well as carefully put together.
Mechanically, as with all Pollys she is still nicely engineered. The valve gear is well made, and finished, with minimal wear and tear. The boiler is a professional copper job from Polly of course, which comes with it's original certificates as well as her up to date certificates and fresh annual steam cert should you wish to play straight away!
There is an injector fitted, as well as a bypass mechanical axle pump, and then the emergency hand pump in the side tank. Lubrication is mechanical with a simple tank on the running boards. All in all, a nice loco, and a pretty big one at that, which has the power to pull a decent load, and the simplicity to mean that you're not in the workshop all the time trying to fix it!
There are a few nice extra features and detailing bits here, nice O&K works plates and we love the big lamp, which suits the loco particularly well,..... we think you'll agree!
