Here we have a well built, and fully sorted example of the NER T Class 0-8-0, built to the LBSC 'Netta' design. This is one of those superb designs that is oddly under represented in the 5" world. We have a couple of friends that run theirs, one particularly well known example that runs every year at GL5 events, and they are a very sure footed and powerful engine, (with all the weight on the driving wheels). Perfect for hauling huge rakes of scale wagons, or indeed club passenger running. For our part we reckon that it's a particularly well balanced and handsome prototype.
This is a loco that's been well looked after, and is in mechanically good condition. Turned out in the original NER 1901 Worsdell fully lined NER green livery, the paintwork is in good, but 'well used' condition. If we were estate agents we would say that it has a lovely patina to it, and looks just like the real thing!
