Here we have a 5" L&Y 'Pug' 0-4-0 saddle tank built up from a Winson kit. Oddly, we've seen several Pugs finished in various shades of green, a livery that they never carried in full size, so it's a mystery why they keep popping up in that colour! It would certainly benefit from a strip down and repaint into one of the authentic black liveries or even the maroon from the one that survived through colliery use. This one is being sold as a project loco. All the bits are there, and it certainly has the potential to work without too much effort, we are really busy in the workshop and so doing that commissioning work on this one has been slipping down our shedule, to the point where it makes more sense to offer it for sale for less money for someone else to finish off! The silver soldered copper boiler can however come with a fresh twice working pressure hydraulic test so that you've peace of mind on that front.
