Here we have a 5" gauge L & Y Pug 0-4-0 kit. This is ostensibly a complete kit. The bottom end was we are told fully assembled, and then stripped down for painting, and the top end is mostly yet to be put together. There may be the odd bit and bob missing as it's come to us in a big box of bits, so it's pretty much impossible to be sure, and certainly the previous owner decided that the Aluminium smoke box tube wasn't ideal, so had scrapped that bit in favour of a bit of brass or steel tube that never materialised. So it'll need at least a new bit of tube for the smoke box.
The boiler is the professionally made silver soldered copper one, and as usual with professional boilers it is extremely neat and tidy and shouldn't represent any risk at all.
All in all a good start for a half decent model engineer to assemble in fairly short order and a superb little loco when done.
