Here we have a nice 5" gauge GWR 45xx Prarie, modelled after the preserved 4555. Constructed to the well proven Martin Evans 'Firefly' design, this is a fully sorted and ready to play loco. She's been built to a good standard, all the motion being pretty nice and tight, as well as neatly machined. The boiler is as per usual silver soldered copper.
There is an injector, a crosshead pump that feeds through a footplate mounted bypass valve, and of course the usual emergency hand pump in the side tank. The mechanical lubricator for the cylinders is easily accessible on the running board, and just generally this s a neatly done example of the breed!
