Here we have a 5" gauge GWR small prarie tank 45xx, or rather 4575 class. Built from a Winson/Modelworks kit, and then re-worked mechanically to turn it into the runner that it clearly is.
Whilst not in 'brand new' paint, the general appearance is purposeful and workmanlike rather than scruffy. The loco is fitted with an injector, a hand pump in the tank and a crosshead water pump in the usual prototypical GWR location, with footplate mounted bypass valve. Draincocks are of course footplate operated as usual, and lubrication on this one is Mechanical and fitted on the running board rather than in the bunker, as is so often the way with the kit built GWR locos.
The boiler is of course the usual professionally made job, and as with all our 'finished' models, she can be given a full 4 year hydraulic test and a fresh steam test so that she is ready to hit the track and play.
