Here we have a 5" gauge Class 67 from Abbots Model engineering. She was specially ordered in the livery of the royal train and certainly looks very good in those colours. Pretty much as new condition with only the minimal of wear and use. In full size this locomotive was built for EWS for use on the TPOs and are now used on passenger and some freight services. The model is capable of pulling 10 to 14+ people + driver.
The body sits around a full length precision CNC laser cut fully welded, powder coated black steel chassis. The bogies are 6mm CNC laser cut, welded and powder coated black. All axle boxes and wheel sets are independently sprung for smooth running on undulating track.

The loco breaks down in to 4 parts to make it an easier one man operation when it comes to loading & un-loading the locomotive to and from your vehicle or trailer. The body, the chassis and the 2 x bogies.
The class 67 is 24V and powered by 2 x 12v batteries (not included with loco as we've had it on the shelf for a couple of years so they will almost certainly be dead by now), and there are 4 motor sets driving the bogies. Gearing ratio is 7 to 1 to result in good torque and keep the speed to a sensible rate!
The previous owner has also added a custom control panel to the lead carriage as per the photographs, although it's completely removable if you'd prefer to use the standard remote control hand set and keep the extra original seating space.
