Here we have a 5" SR King Arthur 'Sir Hectimere'. Assembled from a Modelworks kit, and previously running the previous owner took the decision to strip a few bits off the model to make improvements, and that process never got further than removing the manifold and a few other little bits! The fire hole door at some point has disappeared, bit apart from that most of the other little bits seem to be there. The manifold is weirdly too tall to fit inside the cab as it currently stands, which we guess is one of the things that prompted the tweaks, (the cab must have been sitting high), so that will need a bit of a rethink, but is ought to be possible to modify the current one to work rather than having to build a new one from scratch.
Sold as a project for someone because we are super busy with other locos in the workshop, but the bottom end looks ok and the boiler is the usual, well made professional copper silver soldered one, so certainly it ought to be a quick and easy one to bring back to life!
