Here we have brand new 6" Foden SWB steam lorry, built from a Steam Traction World kit. This is a big model at 98" long and weighing in at just over a Ton! With a working pressure of 170 psi, a boiler diameter of around 14 inches and with three speeds this is proper machine capable of keeping up with the full size engines at any rally, but small enough to be possible to move about with a car and trailer.
The model is recently finished, and has only been steamed on a handful of occasions to test and sort out all the new engine niggles. Assembled by a capable engineer with no expense spared, the extra wooden window kits are there too so that the whole thing comes together to make a very handsome machine.
