Here we have a really nicely built 3 1/2" 'Juliet' to the ever popular LBSC design. This is a Juliet with a twist though,..... the side tanks having been replaced by a tender! At first glance we thought this was a 5" gauge Polly 2, as the lines have worked out very much in that vein. But as she stands we think she's an attractive little thing, made with slip eccentric valve gear, but as with all Juliets, this one will punch above it's weight as a runner.
There is a footplate mounted bypass valve for the axle pump and there is a hand pump in the tender to get water into the engine. There is a spare feed on the manifold where an injector could be fitted if you would like one too. Lubrication is a mechanical tank under the front running board as usual. The boiler is of silver soldered copper construction, and of course as with the vast majority of our models, she can come with a full 4 year hydraulic test and a fresh 'ready to play' steam cert.
