Here we have a 3 1/2" gauge LMS Duchess part built loco to the design by H P Jackson. As is the way with most part build projects, the brand new professionally made silver soldered copper boiler from Western Steam is of course the bulk of the value here. It's fully shell tested and nicely made as you'd expect.
Mechanically the full 4 cylinder chassis and valve gear is competently made, if a little chunky here n there, and although ostensibly finished, there is still a few little jobs to complete before she's ready to run on air. There are also twin ram axle pumps for the water fitted. The tender chassis is nicely detailed and nicely made, the tender body is again, competent but a little chunky. Have a good look at the photos, hopefully they will give you the idea of what's there, but if there are any questions do just give us a bell.
