Here we have a 3 1/2" gauge Ffestiniog 'Mountaineer'. A really nicely made locomotive that ran beautifully at our local model engineers track. It's actually never been painted, always being in service with the stainless tanks. It was stripped down by the builder to undertake the repair of a minor boiler weap, but unfortunately he passed away before he could complete the re-assembly. We've had the model here at Steam Workshop for the past couple of years waiting for a free moment to put the loco properly back together, but that time has never come. We've therefore decided to offer it for sale as a project instead for someone else to progress.
