Here we have a 10 1/4" gauge Diesel Hydraulic locomotive, originally built by Alan Keef,..... indeed we believe this is Alan Keefs very first miniature railway loco, but then very heavily rebuilt into it's current form by Radcliffe & Valentine model engineering. Powered by a tidy Kubota diesel engine, and we've just refurbished the fuel pump, so that's as new and ready to go.
The details of that rebuild and the locos history are in the brilliant film that we've shared further down the page. Well worth a look.

As with most of our models, what you see isn't necessarily what you get!
We often photograph models pretty much as they come in to us, and then when someone phones to say they are interested we pull the model into our workshops and make sure everything is tested, sorted and ready to go. So if you see the odd model photograph with a fitting missing or a return crank in the wrong place, that's just how it came in and certainly not how it will leave.
