Here we have another beautifully made example of the ever popular 1 1/2" Alchin to the 'Royal Chester' design by Bill Hughes. Brand new and as yet un-steamed, from our observations there are a couple of very minor things left to finish off and make before she's fully finished, but this one is certainly 'virtually' there. The boiler appears to be a nice and tidily made silver soldered copper one, exactly as you'd expect.
More details to follow shortly, but as always we are fighting a backlog here at Steam Workshop of models that we need to get listed on the website, so for now have a good look at the photos, but if you'd like to know any more please don't hesitate to give us a bell for a chat.
As with most of our models, what you see isn't necessarily what you get!
We often photograph models pretty much as they come in to us, and then when someone phones to say they are interested we pull the model into our workshops and make sure everything is tested, sorted and ready to go. So if you see the odd model photograph with a fitting missing or a return crank in the wrong place, that's just how it came in and certainly not how it will leave.
