Don Breckon (1935-2013) "Aftermath" original oil on canvas, signed and dated 1973, depicting the "Royal Star" 4-6-0 locomotive at the site of a train crash, suspended/lifted via traveling cranes from the wreckage.
The original concept sketches and numerous letters relating to the execution of the painting between Don Breckon and the original commissioner are included as well,
