Here we have a 7 1/4" gauge 2-6-2 to a rare design here in the UK but a popular design in the southern hemisphere called 'Watto', specifically the 'Lil Lima' derivative thereof. The loco is well engineered and shows no significant signs of wear on the bottom end. Everything is pretty tight and solidly machined, and she certainly runs well enough!
There's a pair of injectors fitted of course, as well as a really nice little donkey steam pump on the running boards to pump water into the boiler. The boiler it's self is professionally welded steel with expanded tubes, and of course comes with both historic and current boiler certificates so she's ready to play. More details to follow on this one very shortly as well of course as a video of her in action, but for now, have a good look at the photos and just give us a bell if you'd like to know any more.
As with most of our models, what you see isn't necessarily what you get! We often photograph models pretty much as they come in to us, and then when someone phones to say they are interested we pull the model into our workshops and make sure everything is tested, sorted and ready to go. So if you see the odd model photograph with a fitting missing or a return crank in the wrong place, that's just how it came in and certainly not how it will leave.
