Here on behalf of our friends over at Berrybrook Steam, we have a full outfit example of the increasingly popular 2" scale Burrell, as supplied as a very successful kit by Steam Traction World. It is built with a copper boiler, as typical of such scale models. It is fully functional and is supplied with a decent folder of appropriate paperwork, including previous boiler tests and the original shell test to 200psi as supplied by Steam Traction World in 2013. The most recent boiler certificate is now expired, please talk to us regarding the options with testing this model.
It is to be supplied with a pleasant and authentic-looking Steam Traction World traction wagon. It is possible to sit quite comfortably on the wagon for driving as it is fitted with a seat and foot-rests. The engine itself looks to have seen very little use and is an overall pleasant engine, as would be expected of something of this reliable build quality and age.
The livery is in-keeping and could be described as generally good. It is fitted with the typcial mechanical water pump and a hand pump which are reliable. There is an injector on the engine but it is noted in previous boiler inspections as not being included in the examinations. We tend to find that injectors in this sort of scale are notoriously difficult to get working reliably enough for an inspector, hence the use of the hand pump.
