Here we have another 3 1/2" Rob Roy, the second in this darker blue livery that we've had come in this month. This one is in slightly more 'enjoyed' condition than the last, but is well made and with plenty of life left in her. Mechanically everything is in pretty good condition, the level of slop and wear in the bottom end isn't excessive, and the boiler looks well made and tidy. She is ready to be enjoyed by a new owner as she has been by her last.
Fitted with an axle pump and footplate mounted bypass valve as well as the hand pump in the tank. Mechanically lubricated from the tank on the running boards. The boiler is of course silver soldered copper and can of course be fully hydraulically tested and steam tested before she leaves us here at the workshop.
