Here we have a 5" gauge bogie Driving truck, based upon a 40 ton LNER Well wagon. Ideal for ground level running, particularly if you are involved with GL5 'scale trains' type running, where this would be right at home. The bogies themselves are a little basic, but non the less functional for it. There's a hand brake operating on the front bogie, and strong footrests to stop your feet hitting the ballast. It rides very freely, and with the box on there at the moment is a comfortable height for most 5" tank locos on ground level. It rides nicely, is all free rolling and in good all round condition. Convincing little thing, and ideal to slip into a scale train.
