Here we have a nicely presented 4" scale Foster Traction Engine. Built in 2007, with a professional steel boiler (all original plate certificates included), this is a solidly built and ready to rally machine. Re-tubed last year and on a new 10 year professional boiler ticket, and the subject of a recent thorough overhaul on the top and bottom end, so everything is nice, tight and smooth and ready for a fresh life on the rally field!
All the usual bits and bobs are there, crank pump and injector to get the water in, and a water lifter to fill up the tank. Mechanical lubricator on top of the cylinder and she's fitted with nicely done rubber strakes that enable to engine to retain it's agricultural feel, whilst being comfy to use in anger on the road. This isn't a 'new' engine, so expect tidy rather than immaculate in terms of the paint finish.
Fully road registered with it's own V5 log book, she can come of course with a fresh set of certificates ready to rally.
