Here we have a part built, but well on the way 5" gauge 0-6-0 'Jack' to the design currently published by Reeves.
Not a hugely common model this, but a nice, solid and capable industrial saddle tank all the same.
The boiler has been tested to twice working pressure, so can be given a full initial hydraulic shell test certificate. The bottom end is essentially all there so it should run on air. The big jobs are all behind you so with a bit of effort tidying up the cosmetics and then the body making, the fittings fitting and the plumbing plumbing, this one is not too far off being a runner.
A good, solid start for someone wanting a relatively quick project and a relatively rare model.
