Here we have a nice, (if slightly in need of a rescue!) 3 1/2" gauge GER T19 'Petrolea', built to the well proven, if not massively common design by LBSC.
The model has a copper boiler, and can be given a fresh 4 year hydraulic certificate so that you know you're off to a good start. Mechanically she works nicely and we've had her turning over on air. She does need, as you can see from the photos a little bit of work to bring her back into the world of the steaming though! We've had her sitting on the shelf here for the best part of 3 years now, with the intention of putting in the week that we reckon it would take to have her back fully re-commissioned and running nicely again, but as seems to be the way here at SW, so many bigger projects keep nipping in front of her that we've decided we are unlikely to get onto this one any time soon! A relatively simple re-commission job though, so a chance to get a lovely little loco for not a great deal of outlay.
